In many industries such as wire and cable, textile fiber, rubber seals, medical conduits, composite materials, etc., a large number of tested materials have the characteristics of long size, good flexibility, and easy bending. If traditional vertical electronic universal testing machines are used for tensile testing, the following problems are often encountered:

1. Interference from sample self weight: When flexible materials are suspended vertically, their self weight can cause uneven initial stress, affecting the accuracy of modulus and elongation.

2. Difficulty in clamping: Long sized specimens require ladder operation on a vertical machine, which results in high labor intensity and low efficiency.

3. Space limitation: The effective travel of conventional vertical machines is usually less than 1.5 meters, which cannot meet the full-size testing of long specimens.

Electronic horizontal tensile testing machine

The electronic horizontal tensile testing machine adopts a horizontal structure, with the sample placed horizontally on the track platform or load-bearing trolley, which is convenient to clamp, has good centering, and has low self weight interference. Combined with high-precision servo motor drive and precision ball screw transmission, it can achieve wide range stepless speed regulation, with a displacement resolution of up to 0.01mm, making it an ideal choice for tensile testing of long flexible materials.
