Especially for hydraulic jaws, the embedding of debris can seriously affect the clamping force and damage the jaws.
Body cleaning: Use a soft cloth to wipe off dust and oil stains on the surface of the body. It is strictly prohibited to use corrosive cleaning agents.
2. Jaw inspection:
Check the jaws (flat jaws, threaded jaws, wedge-shaped jaws, etc.) for cracks, excessive wear, or tooth breakage. If severe wear is found, it should be replaced immediately.
For hydraulic clamping systems, check if the jaw surface is clean to ensure that there are no debris affecting the next clamping.
3. Hydraulic system (if hydraulic):
Check if the oil level in the hydraulic oil tank is within the calibration range.
After starting up, check whether there is any leakage or oil leakage in the hydraulic pipelines and joints.
4. Safety device inspection:
Check if the emergency stop button is functioning properly.
Check whether the mechanical safety devices such as protective nets and covers are intact and in place.
5. Operation check:
Run the crossbeam (moving crossbeam) at low speed for a short distance without load, listen for any abnormal noise, and observe whether the operation is smooth.
2、 Regular maintenance and upkeep (conducted on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis)
Purpose: To conduct systematic inspections, adjustments, and maintenance to ensure equipment accuracy and performance.
Specification and Requirements for Periodic Maintenance Projects

1. Transmission system inspection: Check whether the surface of the screw and light bar is clean and free of rust. After cleaning with anhydrous ethanol, apply a small amount of rust proof oil.
2. Lubrication and maintenance: Add an appropriate amount of lithium based grease to the transmission parts such as the screw, guide rail, chain, and bearings to ensure smooth operation.
3. Tightening inspection: Check whether the bolts and screws at each connecting part are loose, especially the key parts such as sensors and jaw seats.
monthly
1. Control system inspection: Clean the dust inside the electrical control cabinet, check if the cooling fan is working properly, and ensure that the circuit board and wiring terminals are not loose.
2. Jaw depth inspection: Check the wear of the clamping teeth of the jaws and repair or replace them if necessary.
3. Sensor calibration check: Observe whether the force value display is stable and whether the return to zero is good through no-load and simple testing.
Every six months/year
1. Hydraulic system oil change (hydraulic model): Replace all hydraulic oil and clean the oil tank and filter. It is recommended to use anti-wear hydraulic oil recommended by the manufacturer.
2. Force system calibration: Third party calibration must be performed by the metrology department or professional engineers from the manufacturer using higher precision standard force measuring instruments, and a calibration certificate must be issued. This is the legal basis for ensuring the accuracy of data.
3. Comprehensive inspection and debugging: Conduct a comprehensive accuracy check, system debugging, and parameter correction on the entire machine. It is recommended to contact the manufacturer or professional service engineer for assistance.
3、 Long term disuse maintenance (not used for more than one month)
Purpose: To prevent equipment from aging, rusting, and performance degradation due to idle use.
1. Comprehensive cleaning and rust prevention
Thoroughly clean the equipment, and apply rust proof oil or grease to all exposed metal surfaces (such as screws, guides, jaws, etc.) after cleaning.
2. Environmental requirements
Shut down the equipment and cut off the main power supply.
Cover the entire machine with a dust cover and store it in a dry, ventilated, and non corrosive gas environment.
3. Regularly power on
Even if it is not used for a long time, it is recommended to power it on once a month for at least half an hour to keep the electronic components (such as circuit boards and power supplies) in the system dry and active, and to remove moisture.
4、 Safety precautions
1. Power off operation: Before performing any cleaning, maintenance, or component replacement, the main power must be turned off and the main power must be cut off to prevent electric shock or accidental equipment start-up.
2. Complex tasks such as calibration, hydraulic system maintenance, and electrical system inspection should be carried out by trained professionals or by contacting the manufacturer's after-sales service.
3. Use genuine consumables: Consumables such as hydraulic oil, lubricating grease, and pliers should be recommended by the equipment manufacturer as much as possible to ensure compatibility and performance.
4. Record archiving: Establish a detailed "Equipment Maintenance Record Form" to record the date, content, personnel, and issues discovered after each maintenance. This is very helpful for device management and traceability.
