(2) Working principle

Pendulum lifting: Raise the pendulum to the specified height (150 ° or 160 °) to store potential energy.

Release impact: The pendulum falls freely and impacts the standard notch specimen (such as the Charpy V-notch).

Energy calculation: Measure the remaining height after the impact of the pendulum and calculate the energy absorbed by the sample (KV ₂/J).
