The flexural and compressive testing machine is a specialized equipment used to test the flexural strength (bending strength) and compressive strength of materials, widely used for mechanical performance testing of building materials (such as concrete, mortar, bricks), metals, ceramics, plastics, and other materials.

1、 Main functions

(1) Compression test

Determine the maximum bearing capacity (compressive strength) of materials under axial pressure, such as concrete test blocks, stone, etc.

(2) Flexural test

Test the bending strength of materials such as cement mortar beams and ceramic tiles using the three-point or four point bending method.

(3) Other tests

Some models can be extended for splitting tests, elastic modulus determination, etc.

2、 Equipment composition

(1) Host framework

High strength structure, usually driven by hydraulic or servo motors to ensure stable loading.

(2) Loading System

Hydraulic type: pressurized by an oil cylinder, suitable for large tonnage testing (such as 2000kN or above).

Electronic: using servo motor and ball screw, high precision, suitable for small tonnage (such as 100kN or less).

(3) Control system

Microcomputer control or PLC control, can set loading rate, automatically collect data, and generate curves.

(4) Measurement system

High precision sensors (force values, displacement), digital display instruments or software interfaces.

(5) Fixtures and accessories

Compression resistant fixtures (flat plates), anti bending fixtures (support rollers), bending supports, etc.

3. Maintenance and Calibration

(1) Regular maintenance: check the oil circuit (hydraulic type), clean fixtures, and tighten bolts.

(2) Mandatory calibration: At least once a year, in accordance with JJG 139-2014 "Verification Regulations for Testing Machines".
