The purpose and function of metal wire torsion testing machine

The metal wire torsion testing machine is suitable for measuring the ability of metal wires with a diameter (or characteristic size) of 1-6.00mm to withstand plastic deformation in unidirectional 

or bidirectional torsion, and displaying defects on the surface and inside of the wire. Mainly suitable for university research majors or manufacturing enterprises specializing in fine steel wire.

The main function of the metal wire torsion testing machine is one-way torsion: the sample is twisted to a specified number of times or the sample breaks, and a qualification test or destructive 

test is conducted. Bidirectional torsion: After twisting the sample to the specified number of times, rotate it in the opposite direction the same number of times or the sample will break.

Applicable standards for metal wire torsion testing machine: The metal wire torsion testing machine is applicable to the People's Republic of China standards GB/T 239 "Methods for torsion 

testing of metal wires", ISO 7800:1984 "Methods for unidirectional torsion testing of metal wires", and ISO 9649:1990 "Methods for bidirectional torsion testing of metal wires". It is also applicable 

to GBT3952-2008 standards for copper wire blanks and bare wires for electrical purposes, GB-T4909, wires, cables, and stripped steel wires.
