  • Detailed Description

The electro-hydraulic servo long column pressure testing machine is a device specifically designed to test the stability, compressive strength, and buckling characteristics of slender components (such as building columns, bridge piers, mining pillars, etc.) under axial pressure. It evaluates the bearing capacity, deformation characteristics, and failure modes of long columns by simulating the compression conditions in actual engineering, and is widely used in civil engineering, mining support, aerospace, and other fields.

Core functions of the device

(1) Axial compression test

Measure the ultimate compressive strength of long columns under static or dynamic pressure (such as concrete columns, steel pipe columns).

Record stress-strain curves and analyze mechanical parameters such as elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio.

(2) Stability and Buckling Analysis

Test the effect of Slenderness Ratio on bearing capacity and observe Euler buckling or local buckling phenomena.

It can simulate the critical buckling load under different boundary conditions (hinged, fixed end).

(3) Long term creep testing

Apply constant pressure (such as 70% ultimate load) to the long column and monitor its creep characteristics over time (applicable to concrete and composite materials).

(4) Loop loading test

Simulate alternating pressures such as earthquakes and wind loads to test the fatigue life and cumulative damage of long columns.
