The fully automatic low-temperature impact testing machine is a common equipment in the field of material testing, suitable for laboratories and enterprises that require batch and precise testing of low-temperature impact performance of materials.

1、 Equipment Overview

This is a specialized equipment used to determine the resistance of metal materials to impact loads in specific low-temperature environments. It is based on the Charpy pendulum impact test, with the addition of automatic sample delivery, automatic low-temperature cooling, and insulation systems, achieving a high degree of automation in the testing process.

2、 Main purpose

Used to detect the brittle transition trend of metal materials (such as steel, alloys, etc.) at low temperatures and evaluate their low-temperature toughness. This is particularly important for safety critical components such as equipment, ships, bridges, pressure vessels, etc. used in cold regions.

3、 Working principle

1. Refrigeration: Through a compressor refrigeration system, alcohol or other low-temperature media is cooled to a preset temperature (such as -60 ° C, -80 ° C, etc.).

2. Insulation: Place the standard impact specimen (V-shaped or U-shaped notch) on the support in the low-temperature tank and fully immerse it in the low-temperature medium for a sufficient time (usually ≥ 10 minutes) to ensure uniform temperature inside and outside the specimen.

3. Automatic sample delivery: After the insulation is completed, the mechanical arm inside the equipment automatically takes out the sample from the low-temperature tank and quickly and accurately transfers it to the anvil of the impact testing machine.

4. Impact: After the pendulum is lifted to a predetermined height, it releases and impacts the sample in a low-temperature state, breaking it.

5. Data collection: The device automatically measures and calculates the impact absorption energy (Ak value, unit: joule J) consumed by the sample fracture.

4、 Main features of the equipment

1. Fully automated: The entire process (sample delivery, impact, sample collection) is automatically completed with high efficiency, avoiding errors and safety hazards caused by manual operation, and also preventing the risk of frostbite caused by human contact with low-temperature media.

2. Precise temperature control: Using imported compressors and intelligent PID temperature control system, the temperature control accuracy is high and the temperature fluctuation is small, ensuring the accuracy of the sample temperature.

3. Efficient refrigeration: Forced convection stirring ensures uniform temperature in the low-temperature tank and fast cooling rate of the sample.

4. Humanized operation: Controlled by touch screen (or computer), it can set, display, and store test parameters, results, and curves.

5. Safe and reliable: equipped with multiple safety protection devices, such as door switch protection, pendulum brake device, etc.

6. Compliance with standards: The equipment design and manufacturing comply with major international and domestic impact testing standards such as GB/T 229, ISO 148, ASTM E23, etc.
