Through maintenance and upkeep measures, the service life of electronic universal testing machines can be effectively extended, ensuring the stability of equipment operation and the accuracy of test results.

1. Daily cleaning and maintenance

1) Keep the equipment clean: Regularly wipe the surface and control panel of the testing machine, use a soft dry cloth or soft brush to clean dust and impurities.

2) Cleaning key parts: After each test, clean the residue on the jaws, fixtures, and other parts to avoid damage caused by the accumulation of oxide skin or debris.

3) Rust prevention treatment: Apply rust prevention oil to easily rusted parts or accessories that have not been used for a long time (such as fixtures, pins, etc.).

2. Maintenance of mechanical components

1) Lubrication maintenance: Clean and lubricate the ball screw every six months, wipe it with gasoline and apply lubricating grease.

2) Regularly inspect and lubricate sliding surfaces, lining plates, sprockets, and other parts.

3) Check fasteners: Regularly check if the jaw screws, sprocket tensioning wheels, and other fasteners are loose, and tighten them in a timely manner if they are loose.

4) Replace vulnerable parts: Regularly inspect and replace worn sealing rings, filter elements, lubricating oil, etc.

3. Electrical system maintenance

1) Check the connecting wires: Regularly check whether the connecting wires on the back panel of the controller are in good contact. If they are loose, they should be tightened in a timely manner.

2) Avoid plugging in the wrong interface: The interfaces on the controller must correspond one-to-one, and the controller power must be turned off when plugging in or unplugging the interfaces.

3) Prevent electrical damage: Avoid prolonged exposure of equipment to high temperatures and humidity, and regularly check if the electrical system is functioning properly.

4. Regular calibration and maintenance

1) Regular calibration: It is recommended to perform equipment calibration every six months to one year to ensure testing accuracy.

2) Comprehensive maintenance: Regularly conduct comprehensive inspections of equipment, including mechanical components, electrical systems, etc., to eliminate potential faults.

5. Precautions for operation

1) Correct operation: Strictly follow the equipment operation manual to avoid equipment damage caused by incorrect operation.

2) Restrict non professionals from operating: Non professionals are not allowed to operate the testing machine at will to avoid damaging the equipment.

3) Maintain a good environment: The equipment should be placed in a ventilated, dry, and non corrosive gas environment, avoiding direct sunlight.
